Happy New Year! We're excited to welcome all of our students back to campus this semester. With a new year comes new opportunities for us to connect with our membership, so we are kicking-off the inaugural issue of a monthly newsletter intended to increase awareness about the many activities that our Liscano PTA is engaged in and help support. To our members, thank you for your continued support! We hope that you'll encourage others who are not yet members to join us in continuing to provide programs and resources to help support the success of our students and school.

A few PTA highlights!

We certainly think we have the best PTA! There are not enough words to thank you, our PTA members, for volunteering for numerous events these past two months. You help make a difference and without you, our PTA and school would be not have been able to provide the incredible experiences our teachers, staff and children received last month!

Thanksgiving Pie Bar

Volunteers donated more than 40 pies to show our Liscano teachers and staff how much they were appreciated for Thanksgiving.

Drum Cafe

The PTA sponsored the Drum Cafe program, an international program which brings an interactive drumming exercise to schools and organizations to promote respect, communication and teamwork.

Holiday Teacher & Staff Luncheon

A delicious soup, spud and salad bar to warm our teachers and staff's tummy in December!

Annual Cookie Exchange

Our annual cookie exchange was a success with volunteers and parents spoiling our Liscano teachers and staff with tons of yummy sweets!

Winter Party

Thank you to all of our room parents for making this year's school-wide Winter Party themed "The Polar Express" so memorable for the kids! A huge thank you to all those who donated items for the activities, and to CCUTX for donating Polar Express books to our classrooms.

2nd First Day of School

We welcomed back all students to campus on January 4. Thank you to the PTA volunteers for coming together to help the teachers and staff kick off the second semester with fun decorations!

Liscano Spirit Days & Nights!

Thank you for continuing to support Liscano Spirit Days and Nights at local community restaurants. These school fundraisers strengthen the bonds between schools, families, and the community, all while bringing in essential funds to help supplement the school's budget for things like enrichment programs and hospitality events to support our wonderful teachers, staff and students.
